ELEY TUNGSTEN-POLYMER SHOT

ELEY TUNGSTEN-POLYMER shot sold in "Black Feather" shells by Eley Hawk Ltd. of Birmingham, England was introduced in the early 1990's. Although "Black Feather" shells were marketed as the "unique answer to the environmental problems of lead concentrations in sensitive areas" in other countries, Eley Hawk did not apply for nontoxic status with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Eley no longer sells its "Black Feather" tungsten-polymer shells. "Black Feather" tungsten-polymer shot is not approved for waterfowl hunting in the United States.
